Disputes

If an order goes wrong, escrow means your payment is still protected โ€” here's how to get it sorted.

If something's wrong, don't confirm the order

Confirming an order releases the funds to the seller. If there's a problem, leave it unconfirmed and open a dispute instead.

When to open a dispute

Raise a dispute if, for example:

  • The order wasn't delivered, or delivery has stalled well past the agreed time.
  • What you received doesn't match the listing or the offer you accepted.
  • A boost wasn't completed as described, or an account or item isn't as advertised.

How to resolve it

  1. Message the seller first. Many issues are a quick misunderstanding โ€” use the order chat to explain what's wrong and give the seller a chance to fix it.
  2. Open a disputeif you can't reach agreement. This flags the order for our team and keeps the funds held in escrow while it's reviewed.
  3. We review both sides. Support looks at the order details, the delivery, and your messages, and may ask each of you for more information.
  4. A resolution is applied. Depending on what happened, that can mean completing the order, or canceling it so the subtotal returns to your PlayerVault balance.

Tips for a fast resolution

  • Keep all communication and delivery inside PlayerVault โ€” off-platform deals aren't protected by escrow.
  • Save screenshots or details that show the state of the order.
  • Raise issues promptly, before an order auto-completes.
