PlayerVault Seller Terms
Last updated 2026-06-19 · Version 2026-06-19
This document is a placeholder pending final legal review. It is provided to describe PlayerVault's intended policies and may be updated before it becomes legally binding.
These Seller Terms apply to anyone who applies to sell, or sells, on the PlayerVault marketplace (a "Seller"). They supplement the PlayerVault Terms of Service and the Marketplace Rules. By submitting a seller application and listing items or services, you agree to these Seller Terms. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms of Service.
1. Becoming a Seller
To sell on PlayerVault you must complete the seller application, including identity verification, and accept all required seller agreements. We may approve, decline, or request more information about any application at our discretion.
- You must be at least 18 years old and legally permitted to sell the items or services you list.
- You must complete identity verification before your application is finalized for review, including submitting a government-issued ID as described in the Identity Verification Notice. PlayerVault may request additional verification later if a fraud or risk review requires it.
- Approval is not guaranteed, and we may re-verify your identity or business status at any time.
- Until your application is approved, your account remains in an in-progress or pending-review state and you may not transact as a Seller.
2. Commissions & Fees
PlayerVault charges a commission on completed sales and may charge additional service or processing fees. Applicable rates are presented to you in your seller dashboard and at the time of listing or payout.
- Commission is calculated on the sale price and deducted before funds are credited to your seller balance.
- Payment-processing, currency-conversion, and payout-method fees may apply and will be disclosed where charged.
- We may change fees prospectively with notice; changes do not apply retroactively to orders already placed.
3. Payouts, Timing & Holds
Net proceeds from completed sales accrue to your seller balance and are paid out using the payout method and handle you provide.
- Funds may be held for a clearing or risk-review period before they become eligible for payout, to account for buyer disputes, refunds, and chargebacks.
- We may place reserves or extended holds on funds where there is elevated dispute risk, suspected fraud, or unusual activity.
- You are responsible for providing accurate payout details; we are not liable for funds sent to an incorrect handle you supplied.
- Detailed eligibility, timing, holds, and reserve rules are set out in the Payout, Refund, Chargeback & Dispute Handling Terms.
4. Listing Accuracy & Delivery Obligations
You are solely responsible for the accuracy of your listings and for delivering exactly what you promised, on time.
- Listings must accurately describe the item or service, including condition, contents, and any limitations or restrictions.
- You must have the lawful right to sell everything you list and the ability to deliver it.
- Deliver within the timeframe stated in your listing and provide the agreed item, account, currency, or service in full.
- Respond to buyer messages and reasonable support requests promptly and in good faith.
5. Prohibited Seller Conduct
- Listing stolen, compromised, fraudulently obtained, or otherwise prohibited items as described in the Marketplace Rules.
- Misrepresenting items, using bait-and-switch tactics, or delivering something materially different from the listing.
- Encouraging or arranging off-platform payment or delivery to avoid fees, protections, or oversight.
- Manipulating reviews, ratings, search ranking, or pricing, or using bots or fake accounts.
- Reclaiming, recovering, or reselling an account or item after delivery, or otherwise reversing a completed sale.
6. Taxes
You are responsible for determining, collecting, reporting, and remitting any taxes arising from your sales, including income, sales, VAT, or similar taxes. PlayerVault may collect tax information from you and may withhold or report amounts where required by law. Nothing in these Seller Terms constitutes tax advice.
7. Suspension & Termination of Selling Privileges
We may pause your listings, restrict payouts, suspend your selling privileges, or remove you from the marketplace if we reasonably believe you have violated these Seller Terms, the Marketplace Rules, or applicable law, or to protect buyers and the Platform. Where appropriate and lawful, we will provide notice and an opportunity to respond. Outstanding obligations, including refunds and dispute resolution, survive suspension or termination.
8. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PlayerVault and its affiliates, officers, and employees from and against any claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your listings, your sales, your breach of these Seller Terms or the Marketplace Rules, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
