Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how PlayerVault LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company, doing business as PlayerVault ("PlayerVault", "we", "us"), collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal information when you use our marketplace. By using PlayerVault, you agree to the practices described here and in our Terms of Service.

• Account information — email, username, display name, authentication records handled by our authentication provider, and profile details you provide. PlayerVault does not store plaintext passwords.
• Transaction information — orders, listings, offers, messages, disputes, balances, and payout details.
• Payment information — processed by our payment provider (Stripe). We receive limited details such as the card brand and last four digits; we do not store full card numbers.
• Identity-verification information — for sellers, verification results and limited document details used to verify identity before payouts. For new ordinary verification cases, ID and selfie data are provided directly to Stripe Identity; historical or exceptional manual cases may be stored by PlayerVault.
• Usage & device information — log data, IP address, browser/device type, and cookies used to operate and secure the service.
• Referral and program information — referral link or code attribution, attribution receipts, referrer and referred-account identifiers, qualification events, points, tiers, eligible-fee components, referral earnings, reversals, placement use, payout status, and anti-abuse signals.
• Support and communications — support tickets, messages, attachments, notification preferences, and service or program communications.
• Agreement and transaction evidence — policy versions, acknowledgement text, timestamps, Account and Order identifiers, Listing/offer and fee snapshots, delivery/confirmation events, and relevant dispute/refund history.

• Provide, operate, and improve the marketplace and your account.
• Process orders and payments and release seller earnings.
• Verify identity, prevent fraud and abuse, and keep the platform secure.
• Communicate with you about orders, support, and important service updates.
• Comply with legal, tax, and record-keeping obligations.
• Record agreement acceptance; administer protections; and investigate or respond to disputes, refunds, fraud, chargebacks, and legal claims.
• Attribute referrals, calculate and administer points, tiers, placements and eligible-fee revenue share, process referral withdrawals, and prevent referral manipulation.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process information as necessary to perform our contract with you and provide the Platform; to comply with legal obligations; for legitimate interests such as fraud prevention, security, support, marketplace integrity, recordkeeping, dispute handling, and service improvement; and with consent where required, such as certain optional communications or cookies. We consider the interests and rights affected when relying on legitimate interests. You may withdraw consent where processing depends on consent, without affecting earlier lawful processing.

PlayerVault is operated from the United States, and service providers or users involved in a transaction may be in other countries. Information may therefore be processed in jurisdictions with different privacy laws. We use contractual and other safeguards required by applicable law for covered transfers, but we do not claim a certification or transfer mechanism that is not actually in place.

Stripe Identity is the default identity-verification provider for new cases. Sellers provide government-ID and selfie data through Stripe's hosted flow, and PlayerVault receives limited status and verification-result information needed to operate the service. PlayerVault does not duplicate Stripe-hosted raw ID images into its storage. Historical or authorized manual submissions remain in private storage and are accessible only to authorized reviewers through short-lived links. We share information only as needed to run the marketplace:

• Service providers who help us operate — including Stripe for payment processing and identity verification, hosting/database providers, and email delivery providers — for the purposes needed to provide and protect the service.
• Other users, limited to what is necessary to complete a transaction (for example a public seller profile or details needed to deliver an order).
• Legal and safety recipients, when required by law or to protect our users, the public, or PlayerVault.
• Banks, payment providers, and card networks, limited to relevant lawful evidence needed to process or respond to a payment, refund, inquiry, or Payment Dispute.

We do not sell your personal information.

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described here, to support disputes and fraud prevention, and to meet legal and tax obligations — after which we delete it or remove its association with you. Identity-document retention is described in the Identity Verification Notice.

Agreement, Order, payment, delivery, referral, communication, fraud/security, and evidence-export records may be retained through applicable transaction, referral-revenue, refund, chargeback, tax, limitation, and legal-hold periods. Criteria include whether an Account or transaction remains active, whether funds or obligations remain outstanding, provider and network requirements, fraud-prevention needs, statutory recordkeeping periods, and the time reasonably needed to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. We minimize evidence submissions and do not store card verification codes or full card numbers.

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, secure the service, and understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser; disabling some may affect functionality.

We apply technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and private storage for sensitive documents. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and respond to incidents.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, contact us through PlayerVault Support. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where the law requires.

Depending on applicable law, you may also have a right to withdraw consent, object to certain processing, restrict processing, appeal a request decision, or complain to a privacy regulator. We do not discriminate against a User for exercising a privacy right. These rights may be subject to lawful exceptions, including transaction, fraud-prevention, security, tax, and legal-record obligations.

PlayerVault is not directed to persons under 13, and persons under 13 may not use the Platform. We do not knowingly collect personal information from persons under 13. If you believe a person under 13 has provided personal information to PlayerVault LLC, contact support so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

Users ages 13 through 17 may use otherwise eligible buyer and general marketplace functionality only with the parent or legal-guardian permission described in the Terms. Sellers must be at least 18. These are contractual eligibility rules; they do not mean PlayerVault routinely collects birth dates or verifies every User's age or parent/legal-guardian authorization at registration.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above, and where appropriate we will provide additional notice.
