Ambassador and Referral Program Terms
Last updated September 21, 2026
Effective September 21, 2026 · Version ambassador-2026-09-21-v2
These Ambassador and Referral Program Terms (the “Program Terms”) are a binding supplement to the PlayerVault Terms of Service. They govern participation in the referral and ambassador program operated by PlayerVault LLC. The Privacy Policy, Buyer Protection policy, and other applicable PlayerVault policies also apply.
You join the program through the existing Ambassador dashboard and must accept the current Program Terms before requesting a referral withdrawal. Program benefits are not guaranteed income, wages, or investment returns.
1. Qualified referral activity
- A qualified buyer referral is recorded when a referred buyer completes their first legitimate qualifying purchase. It is worth one referral point.
- A qualified seller referral requires seller approval and the referred seller’s first legitimate qualifying completed marketplace sale or boosting order. It is worth two referral points.
- A referred account may qualify once as a buyer and once as a seller, for a maximum of three points from that referred account.
- A click, signup, email verification, payment-method entry, seller approval by itself, or listing publication by itself does not qualify and earns no points.
- The qualifying transaction must be paid, fulfilled, completed, and through its applicable Buyer Protection period. Cancelled, refunded, successfully disputed, charged-back, fraudulent, self-referred, manipulated, or otherwise non-legitimate activity does not qualify or may be reversed as described below.
2. Referral links, codes, and attribution
PlayerVault provides unique referral links and referral codes. Link attribution currently lasts 30 days. The first valid passive link attribution remains authoritative during that period, except that a valid referral code deliberately entered during signup takes precedence. Codes are not case-sensitive.
Each referred account may have only one authoritative referrer. Established accounts cannot add or switch a referrer, and PlayerVault does not promise retroactive attribution or reassignment. A documented support correction may be made before qualifying activity when reasonably necessary to correct an actual error. Former codes may remain associated with their original owner for attribution integrity.
3. Current points, tiers, and benefits
- 10 points — Ambassador: Ambassador badge; no revenue share; no homepage placement.
- 25 points — Ambassador+: Ambassador+ badge; no revenue share; one 24-hour homepage featured-listing placement per calendar month.
- 50 points — Partner: Partner badge; priority support; 5% of eligible PlayerVault fees during months 1–12 and 0% during months 13–24; one 24-hour homepage featured-listing placement per calendar month.
- 100 points — Elite Partner: Elite Partner badge; highest normal customer-support priority; 15% of eligible PlayerVault fees during months 1–12 and 2% during months 13–24; three 24-hour homepage featured-listing placements per calendar month.
- 200 points — Elite Partner 200: the dashboard’s name for the highest Elite Partner tier; 15% of eligible PlayerVault fees during months 1–12 and 15% during months 13–24; three 24-hour homepage featured-listing placements per calendar month.
Support priority never overrides security, identity, sanctions, fraud, compliance, or emergency triage. Program badges are distinct from Elder, verified-seller, and staff designations.
4. Homepage placements
Included placements are promotional, labelled, time-limited benefits subject to the monthly quota shown in the Ambassador dashboard, content standards, scheduling, marketplace and listing availability, Platform policies, and technical availability. They do not permanently change organic ranking and do not guarantee impressions, clicks, inquiries, sales, revenue, or any particular placement time. PlayerVault may reject, remove, or reschedule content that is fraudulent, misleading, prohibited, unavailable, or policy-violating.
5. Eligible PlayerVault fee revenue
Revenue share is calculated only from eligible fees PlayerVault actually earns from referred users—not from total order value, gross merchandise value, buyer purchase principal, seller proceeds, seller payouts, or payment volume. Eligible components may include a stored buyer service fee attributable to a referred buyer and a stored seller marketplace fee attributable to a referred seller.
Eligible fees exclude transaction principal, tax, payment-processor pass-through amounts, refunded or reversed fees, promotional credits, and amounts PlayerVault never earns. Each fee component is counted at most once. A qualifying Elder transaction with a 0% seller fee produces no seller-fee revenue share even if the seller qualifies for points. Calculations use the recorded fee component and round down to whole cents per component. For illustration, a $5 eligible PlayerVault fee produces $0.25 at 5% and $0.75 at 15%; a $1,000 transaction principal does not change those results when the eligible PlayerVault fee remains $5.
6. Revenue periods and tier upgrades
Each referred person’s first qualifying activity starts that person’s own revenue-share clock. Qualification in a second role does not restart the clock. The first window covers months 1–12 and the second covers months 13–24, each ending at its recorded calendar-month boundary. Revenue share ends after month 24 at the latest and is not perpetual.
The tier held when an eligible order completes determines the rate for that order. The order that unlocks a higher tier uses the tier held before that qualification. Tier upgrades apply prospectively to later completed orders and do not reprice or create a retroactive entitlement to previously calculated earnings. Historical attribution may remain recorded after revenue eligibility ends.
7. Pending earnings, invalid activity, and clawbacks
Referral qualification and revenue may remain pending through the applicable transaction-protection period plus the program’s current seven-day safety buffer. Pending amounts are not withdrawable. Open disputes, chargebacks, provider review, fraud/risk review, and incomplete transaction records may delay availability.
PlayerVault may reject a qualification or reverse points and rewards where the underlying activity is cancelled, refunded, successfully disputed, charged back, fraudulent, self-referred, attributable to controlled alternate accounts, manipulated, or otherwise invalid. A later transaction reversal may reverse the associated reward through an auditable offset against pending referral earnings, available referral earnings, and then future referral earnings. Legitimate historical points are not removed merely because an unrelated later transaction is reversed; point reversal is reserved for invalid qualification, proven abuse, or correction of an error. PlayerVault does not automatically debit an external bank account, card, or payment method without separate lawful authorization.
8. Abuse, investigation, and enforcement
Prohibited conduct includes self-referrals; duplicate, controlled, or alternate accounts; fake purchases; coordinated or related-party transaction manipulation; fraudulent buyers or sellers; artificial point generation; refund, dispute, or chargeback manipulation; attempts to overwrite or manipulate attribution; abusive automation or registrations; spam; and misuse of referral codes or links.
Where reasonably necessary, PlayerVault may review relevant signals and records, hold qualification or rewards during investigation, reject qualification, correct or reverse points, reverse rewards attributable to invalid activity, suspend participation, or terminate program access. Shared network information alone is not treated as conclusive proof of abuse. Participants may contact Support to request review.
9. Promotion and endorsement rules
Do not impersonate PlayerVault or its staff, make false or unsubstantiated claims, use deceptive traffic practices, or suggest guaranteed earnings or results. When a recommendation or link may earn you compensation, disclose that relationship clearly and conspicuously wherever applicable law requires it. You are responsible for the content and placement of your promotions.
10. Referral payouts and taxes
Referral funds are accounted for separately from PlayerVault Balance and seller earnings. Seller status is not required. Before withdrawal, a payee must satisfy applicable identity, payee, payout-destination, country-capability, security, and compliance requirements. Destination changes may impose a security hold, and payout depends on an available supported method. Participants are responsible for accurate payee information and their tax obligations. PlayerVault may request information, report amounts, withhold, or remit where required by law.
11. Program changes, termination, and relationship
PlayerVault may modify, suspend, or discontinue the program prospectively, with reasonable notice where appropriate. A change may affect future eligibility, rates, windows, tiers, or benefits but will not arbitrarily erase a legitimate finalized amount already earned under the applicable version. Amounts remain subject to valid reversals, offsets, fraud findings, payment-provider outcomes, tax withholding, and law. Configuration changes do not recalculate finalized historical earnings unless needed to correct an error or invalid activity.
“Ambassador,” “Ambassador+,” “Partner,” “Elite Partner,” and “Elite Partner 200” are promotional program tier names only. Participation does not create employment, a legal partnership, agency, franchise, fiduciary relationship, joint venture, ownership interest, or authority to bind PlayerVault LLC. No income, transaction volume, availability, or continued program operation is guaranteed.
12. Privacy, notices, and disputes
PlayerVault processes referral link/code attribution, qualification, financial, risk, and program records as described in the Privacy Policy. Notifications and the dashboard expose program milestones and account-level totals, not a referred user’s private payment details or message contents. Disputes concerning the program are governed by the dispute-resolution provisions of the Terms of Service. Contact Support with program questions.
