Fees

Overview
PlayerVault keeps pricing transparent: buyers always see the exact total before confirming, and sellers see their payout before listing or accepting. This page explains how buyer and seller fees are applied.
Buyer service fee
The buyer service fee is 5% + $0.30, charged only on the portion of an order paid by card (or other external payment method).
- Amounts paid from your PlayerVault balance are fee-free — no service fee applies to wallet-funded spend.
- On a mixed checkout (part balance, part card), the fee applies only to the card remainder.
- Pay entirely from your balance and there is no buyer service fee at all.
The full total, including any service fee, is shown as a line item at checkout before you pay.
Seller commission (by category)
Sellers pay a platform commission on each completed sale. The rate depends on the listing's category:
- Boosting — 8%
- Accounts — 10%
- Items — 8%
- Top Ups — 3%
- Currency — 3% (select high-volume markets are lower — for example Old School RuneScape and World of Warcraft gold at 2.5%)
Elder sellers pay 0% commission for life. The founding sellers in each game receive permanent 0% platform fees. Any listing without a recognized category uses a 10% rate. The exact commission for a listing is always shown before you publish it.

Payouts & withdrawals
- Seller earnings move from pending to available once the buyer confirms delivery.
- You can withdraw available earnings (subject to a small minimum) to your saved payout method.
- PlayerVault does not charge a withdrawal fee, but your payout provider or network may apply its own fees.
