Marketplace Rules & Prohibited Listings Policy
Last updated 2026-06-19 · Version 2026-06-19
This document is a placeholder pending final legal review. It is provided to describe PlayerVault's intended policies and may be updated before it becomes legally binding.
These Marketplace Rules set the standards everyone must follow when buying or selling on PlayerVault. They apply to all users and supplement the PlayerVault Terms of Service and Seller Terms. Violating these Rules can result in listing removal, order cancellation, withheld funds, and account suspension or termination.
1. Prohibited Listings
The following may never be listed, advertised, or sold on PlayerVault:
- Stolen, hacked, compromised, or fraudulently obtained accounts, items, or currency, or anything you cannot lawfully sell or deliver.
- Real-money gambling items, wagering services, or items tied to unlicensed gambling, lotteries, or betting.
- Anything that facilitates fraud, including phishing kits, stolen payment data, account-recovery exploits, or chargeback-fraud services.
- Illegal goods or services, or items that infringe intellectual-property rights or violate a game publisher's terms in a way that is unlawful.
- Services or arrangements designed to circumvent PlayerVault — including off-platform payment, off-platform delivery, or fee evasion.
- Malware, cheats or exploits that compromise other users' security, and tools intended to steal accounts or data.
2. Buyer & Seller Conduct
- Communicate respectfully and honestly; harassment, threats, hate speech, and impersonation are not allowed.
- Keep transactions and communications on the Platform so protections and records apply.
- Sellers must describe items accurately and deliver what was promised; buyers must not file false claims or abuse refunds and disputes.
- Do not manipulate reviews, ratings, search ranking, or pricing, and do not use bots, scripts, or fake accounts.
- Do not share another person's private or identifying information without authorization.
3. Enforcement & Penalties
We may take action proportionate to the violation and the risk involved. Depending on the circumstances, enforcement may include:
- Editing or removing non-compliant listings.
- Cancelling orders and issuing refunds to affected buyers.
- Placing holds, reserves, or withholding funds linked to violations or disputes.
- Issuing warnings, limiting features, or temporarily suspending an account.
- Permanently terminating accounts for serious or repeated violations, fraud, or illegal activity, and reporting to authorities where required.
We may act with or without prior notice when necessary to protect users or the Platform, and we may re-verify identity or request additional information at any time.
4. Reporting Violations
If you see a listing or behavior that violates these Rules, please report it through PlayerVault Support with as much detail as possible, including links, usernames, and a description of the issue. Reports help us keep the marketplace safe. We may follow up for more information and will take action where appropriate, though we cannot always share the outcome of an investigation.
