Overwatch 2 has eight skill tiers — Bronze through Champion — plus the Top 500 leaderboard. Bronze to Grandmaster each have five divisions (5 lowest → 1 highest); Champion and Top 500 don't. Your rank now updates after every match.
A hidden MMR tracks your skill, decides your matches, and drives your placement. Each division represents roughly a 100 SR band, and the game shows how much you gain or lose between divisions after each game.
